Good morning,
So here we are, another of my wild camp threads. This time heading over to Angle Tarn.
Angle Tarn seems to be a very popular wild camping spot with many people have already been there. For me, the prospect of a wild camp next to a nice swimming spot is perfect. Weather is looking fantastic and hopefully get a clear night to see some stars.
Gone and done the planning properly as I've never been before. Got my map and portable gps set up. I've also gone over the route on memory map, the 3D view this softwatre offers has been very useful for me during planning.
As you can see from the pics, very useful for route planning:

Also done a 3D flyover for anyone interested:

Began packing a couple days ago, cleaning and going over what I can do without with. With the weather as hot as it is, taking plenty of water is paramount. Got 2L already frozen and a futher 5L in fridge, hopefully should last the night :D:

Off to Asda tonight to pick up a couple of steaks for my tea whilst camping. Need plenty of bacon to so I can eat a half decent breakfast.
Not sure how many will even be around here this weekend, surely everyone is off camping :P.
