Just finished loading everything in the car for the 350 mile trip to Cornwall in the morning
Could not work out why I could not get my sons bike in the trailer as it usually fits ok ?? Then remembered he had a new bigger bike for Christmas !! Good job I have a stash of decent ratchet straps !!
Gonna be on the road at 05.30 to avoid the M25 at its worst !!
Have a good drive and a good trip, and thanks for that pic, I was wondering how to get the kids bikes in the car this weekend, I may just ratchet strap them to the roof bars now!

Hi, just an idea that I can share .. I also tow and need to take bikes, so I fitted a tow ball mounted onto the frame of the trailer, and I use a Thule tow-ball bike carrier on that, so the bikes sit between the rear of the car and the trailer itself. I have never had any problems in two years towing and having bikes, and the bikes are fitted in about 2-3 minutes securely. Here is the link showing my Thule bike carrier. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thule-TH9700-Xpress-2-Bike/dp/B001N3L4D0/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1374623167&sr=8-16&keywords=cycle+carriers+towbar
