Well we're all packed and ready to go for the first weekend testing all our new (and some pre-loved)equipment before we head off for two weeks in the summer. So on test this weekend are our lovely new Vango Maritsa 700, the camp kitchen, our new stove, EHU, our very pre-loved 3-way fridge, diy tent lamp, bargain ebay bar, bike rack and most importantly of all our (again pre-loved) trailer!

Before we go though, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everybody on here for all your helpful suggestions and advice. I'm a newbie to camping (although my OH used to camp years ago) and a newbie to this forum and I have spent hours pouring over all the posts and pictures and trying to absorb as much information as I can! I think this is a fab site and I only hope that one day I'm able to offer someone some advice that might be useful to them I know people go out of their way to help others on here and before I get all self-involved and forget, I just wanted to say ta muchly - all your enthusiasm has turned a very much reluctant camper into someone who can't get away enough!

I remember doing just the same now nearly 3 summers ago before we decided to camp for the first time. Spent hours looking through the forums, got all the equipment we needed, especially the MUST HAVE checklist to tick as you pack things into the car and just had a ball, even though the weather was really bad, windy and rainy! I just love our weekends away now!
