Best wishes to you all and lots of love and prayers. Lots of things they can do for breast cancer these days and I pray it won't be long until you can put this all behind you. Xx

Thanks everyone, I'll keep you informed how things go.
Mrs CJ has the final say on camping as a family ATM and she has no inclination to go camping right now. Once the treatment starts and we see how things go with how she feels then we might try a weekend as a family again. Until then it's me and little legs all summer. Looking forward to doing some Dad and Lad stuff, already got a day set aside to go sea fishing out of Bridlington. Manchester for the Lego store is a goer too. Looking to take him to another concert, took him to see the Misfits in the spring and he loved it, we fancy some more old skool punk gigs (he's 10!).
------------- Coming soon to a campsite near you, Jake, Mrs Jake, Little legs, Bosdog the Doodle and Olly the Cavachon.

As Claire has said. Healing thoughts are sent your way Mrs CJ. Not everyone may write it, but you can bet all those who read your post has sent them anyway.

My sister is on the same journey, a wee bit further along but definitely on the up-slope. I wish Mrs CJ and your family all the strength and courage needed, and some humour where it can be found, to face it all.

So sad to hear, prayers winging their way. Look after yourself so you can better look after your family, sounds like a Dad and Lad day is much needed.

Quick update.
Had a meeting with the oncologist this week, chemo set up for next Wednesday. CT scan tomorrow. It's a roller coaster ATM, the bad stuff starts next week. Have a plan in place with work to come off ambulances and work single handed on response cars till we are clear of the chemo. Set up a new rota to give me more time with Clare and Cole.
Here we go, it's all starting next week. Thanks for all the words of support, Clare reads them all and they are a great comfort for her. We can beat this.

I am glad to hear the treatment starts so soon, the sooner started the sooner she will get over it. Prayers for all of you from me too. I hope you'll soon be able to take up family camping again!

So sorry to hear this news. Must be such a shock for all of you.
Wishing Mrs CJ all the best with her treatment, and agree that she should do whatever she wants regarding camping, and pretty much everything else right now!
My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She's now out the other side, but was very lucky and just needed two lots of surgery, fortunately no chemo. I hope the chemo isn't too tiring for her.
Thinking of you all.
