Our new Royal Winnipeg 4 has arrived, but when we unrolled the pack to check it was all there, the wrong instructions were included, I think for the Outwell Winnipeg. I googled for instructions and found a manual for the Winnipeg 6

On reading through, I'm a bit bewildered by the part that reads there is an expandable hole in the groundsheet so the inner tents can be pegged to the ground. Am I being dimmer than usual? A hole in the ZIG? We've booked to go away at bank holiday for a proper pitching session but I'm not sure how a hole in the floor works if we have a lot of rain or how I'm going to explain it to His Nibs.    Usually the inners are just looped onto the groundsheet aren't they?

My Khyam Ontario has this.
there is hole in the SIG so the bedroom pods can be pegged. It then has an adjustable cowl that fastens over it to seal it.
Never had any problems with this system.

Thank you! I knew someone on here would know how it works. I was imagining some sort of flap, but I can picture a cowl doing the job. Just something I hadn't come across before and I still have loads to learn
