Nice cold lager but im going to try a few that have been suggested on here.Just for research purposes only obviously.
As a relative camping newbie, I still get a bit stressy putting the tent up so normally its park up, send the wife and daughter to the shop while I have a couple of beers before building. Once the poles are in its back to the good old Budweiser then I leave the wife to do the internal décor and pegs while I make use of the bottle opener. After that, its Budweiser or coffee all the way.

So let me get this straight, Stu...
You pull up on site and start with a couple of beers... then you get the poles in and the tent stood up (but not pegged)... then you get your feet up and get back to the beers?
WOW! No wonder you are stressed... Doesn't she even offer to open your bottles!!

Yup, the first time we did camping I must admit I was very stressed and we had a huge row. Now I stick to the bits she just "gets in the way" with and then she takes over with the last of the pegs. The car is packed with the coolbox, tent and chairs the most accessible things. Its the only time of the year I drink!
The Aldi bar of options goes down well with me - Ballycastle (fake Baillies) the Brasserie French lagers and general good buys in wines, dependent on the weather.
He likes a Guinness or 3!
I like to get the chairs n' table out first to serve a wee drink to sip as we set up.
