LADY-SHAVERS BEWARE! This is a true story! Myself and the Mrs were having a weekend camp back in 2011 at the Jedburgh c+cc site.Nice pitch in the back right hand corner just alongside the dog-walking path.It was a pleasant morning and I wandered of to the village to collect a newspaper. On my return-I stopped to chat with a fellow camper pitched about 50 yards from our tent.As we chatted-I noticed an elderly (male) dog-walker who appeared to be doing shuttle walks past my tent and paying it close attention.I decided I,d best investigate and as I approached-the fellow wandered off and kept going. When I arrived at the side of my tent--all became clear!Due to the time-the shower block was closed for cleaning and because I wasnt there, the Mrs had seized the opportunity to have a stand-up bath and leg-shave in the washing-up bowl.We have a Vango Maritsa 500 with the side doors which can be left open leaving the mesh zipped up to keep the bugs out--This was exactly how the tent was set-up at the time.Imagine the surprise on the Mrs. face when I popped up waving and yoo-hooing outside.Poor thing didnt realise that no-see-um mesh doesnt actually work like a two way mirror. As for the dog-walker--I told her he was making a video on his mobile phone
