We are slowly moving into the process of buying a campsite and I always thought that allowing fires would always be a part of that, but having looked into it, with regards to insurance and licensing etc. I'm not really sure it's worth it.
just checked with the site Fron farm and although they don't allow wood fires are OK with fire logs.
Home bargains have them at 99p and i got this flat pack bbq for 3.99. It isn't going to be top quality but will do.like this one
Valk_scot regarding using pallets as fuel for cooking over, for all the 20+ years in HM forces we were always told not to cook over pallets or wooden ammo boxes as they are treated against pest infestation and the treatments are toxic when burnt.
I'm sure not all pallets are treated, but hard to tell.
