Not had a problem but we take most stuff with us. Have already said my new Moon chair is coming on days out... it's my new best friend for my back. Luckily when we have been there are people about, if I saw someone hanging about I'd tell owners.

A friend of our had a 2 man tent stolen from there back garden . It had been left up to dry out . We have never had any issues though . I would think the bigger and busier the site the more chance of crime . The chance of people remembering who goes with witch unit or even if there booked in is I would think quite difficult .
It's kinda like when people turn up in a big van at a house and clear it out . The owner comes home to find they haven't just been burgled but they been cleaned out . The more brazen the less chance any one will question them .
We stayed at Searles last week ,pitch opposite had table and chairs stolen ,two pitches down had her car number plates stolen.First time in 30 years I have heard of a theft at a camp site !!!!!
