We use campbeds with a SIM on top. We use the space under the beds to store clothes, bags for campbed and sleeping bag etc

I use air beds (outwell excellent flocky jobbies) and a rechargeable pump. All airbeds will loose a little firmness, so need a quick pump up from time to time.
Remember though, you will need to insulate between you and the bed. I use a fleece blanket and a fitted fleece top sheet to hold it on. Works really well.
I am thinking about getting Aerobeds..........?
