We put ours very carefully over the line and keep moving it - doesn't take that long .
We've all been very lucky with the weather this year - as Tidburyboy said it does rain in the summer and last year was a wash out - but we went camping at the beginning of September (last year), then in a tin tent in October and it was absolutely glorious - so you never know.
You'd never go camping if you were worried about the weather!! So I would just go for it!

Topic: where and how to try tent out
. I use a smaller tent for camping in the colder months which I can dry and fold in the house if necessary. It's also easier to heat a smaller space.
