well after years of been a night fisherman... the kids expressed they wanted to go camping, so i did nothing more brought a tent and all the gear and set off.
although there was a few probs mainly with the tent (prob should of got some advice on this to start) it was a good trip all the kids found it fantastic and cant wait till the next outing.
we went to Rockbridge near prestige and it was awesome, steve on site was brilliant (pos review left)
i also got some good photos on a trip to ludlow when we viewed the castle
well worth a visit with loads to do and always seems to have a good market on out side the castle and loads of alleyways to explore
on a last note happened to get a few good pics with the kids using their touches in the dark, also a good way to tire them out having them run up and down a field
all in all a great trip, altho i did sell the tent and have just brought a new one for the next trip

Campernic/neato: the last pic is the kids running up and down the field with their torches, and the tent was a Leben Hamburg 12 all in all a good tent but the misses dont like the cold at the best of times and is a big no no for crawlies so with no fitted groundsheet it wasn't the best for her. so just got hold of a Aspen 500DLX i'm very looking forward to (and the misses)
Geoff: yes a tripod is needed or a really stable base where you can keep the camera dead still.
infact all the pictures are for sale (apart from tent ones) and there are different ones of the light trails if anyone is interested just contact me through my website for solid prints but please bear in mind pictures uploaded online are LO-RES to protect the copyright
