I live in Blackpool, Its chucking it down here at mo but the forecast says sat is sunny / cloudy with some showers. I never believe the weather till I get up on the day though
We are off to Masons at Burnsall tomorrow....expecting the ground to be muddy by then! Beauty of The Beast is we can chuck everything inside the *conservatory* (once she is up) & I can set up inside without anything getting wet/damp...
Need to dig our hats & gloves out & thick woolies....not seen them for months!!!
Well the rubbish weather just hasn't materialised here in Oxfordshire. No rain after about 9am yesterday sat out in my shorts in glorious sunshine, in a completely empty field.
Just the job, might have a walk up to the ridgeway later....then again might not bother.
I'm hoping to go camping over the next few weeks for about four nights Beddgelert. Only camped once this year. Hopefully have a few trips over the winter instead.

Forget the upgrade mate. I've just been loading us up...... and it seems, we are taking the bloody lot with us!!!
We had a lovely weekend weather was lovely no rain light winds n sunshine weather man got it wrong we had a fantastic weekend on a fantastic campsite :-)
We were camping at the weekend too, 10 miles from home. Decided about 3pm on Friday after changing mind several times. Not a drop of rain, just sunshine and a bit of cloud now and then. Warm enough to not need EHU so no problem getting a last minute pitch.
Well I had an amazing time. I was dreading it but as we approached Scarborough the clouds parted and we had bright sunshine for three days. Fantastic.
The tent took me 20 minutes to put up and another 20 to empty the car and get the wine open.
I have a kalahari 8 and it was a doddle.
The kids absolutely loved it. We stayed at Jasmine park which was wonderful, and had trips out to Scarborough and Filey .
Couldn't have asked for better weather and its safe to say we are now addicted.
The only two hiccups were that we struggled to get everything in the car( need a trailer) and our blow up mattresses were rubbish.
They were not rubbish exactly , they were very comfy but to ease our kids into the experience myself and the long haired colonel took a kid each. The result was what silentight called roll together.
I'd be open to suggestions because I can't see blow up air beds working for the colonel and me either as I weigh more than her.
All in all it was the start of something wonderfully addictive.
Thanks for your support and advice guys.
Here's to the next trip.
