Oh yes.... have to add the inflatable pillow, due to it being waterproof, you end up dodging pools of red wine and pringle flavoured dribble all night...... nasty! Horribly uncomfortable too.
Well... I did buy things (2 x Megamats for starters and a new B&B tent) but, I have used them: I'm feeling quite proud of my sensible and practical purchases
Best buy was the Outwell frying pan with a screw-off handle - I use it all the time in the kitchen at home.
Kampa Khazi - always been happy to trudge over to the block but thought this year we'd try one of these. Takes up loads of room in the car...and has yet to be 'christened'! I kept telling myself it'll come in handy if the weather's bad; just happens we were lucky all season
I bought a rather expensive folding Buffalo caterers gas BBq, the type used for doing outdoor events, with the proviso that it would be used to do a couple of large family parties in a marquee, but in the end they got moved into our local sports hall due to the weather and the price it would have cost to have the marquee hired and erected, so after just one test usage, the 400quids worth of shiny stainless steel is standing in my garage awaiting a new home with the first person to make me a sensible offer.

Toilet tent. Its too big for the inside of awning. As we have never camped without the awning it hasn't been used. It was an impulse buy just in case we decided not to use awning doh!!!

Yep. Impulse buying. UK Campsites most contagious disease.
Impulse buying whilst at Camp shops is very very dangerous! Always come back with something other than I went for. Toilet tent was bought when I had actually gone for some camping pegs.
An outwell collapsible bucket. Thought it would save space in the car but forgot that I store a lot of other things in the bendy bucket that I usually take. So it took up extra space and wasn't used

I bought a water carrier, found it too bulky.
Then bought a collapesable version, didn't use it. Some recommendef using a water bottle.
