It's not my bottle Jel. It's not up to me!
Fair enough Armchair...I will leave it there...Let sleeping dogs lie as it were...Desist from flogging a dead horse...It is enough for me to know that my suggestion was listened to...and even(if only for a moment) considered as an option...
On behalf of the wee hairy Ewok...Papa Smurf...Lord of all Glencoe(as he likes to call himself at the bowling club)...And James "Nifty Fingers".."Any Requests?" Call I thank you and hope that where ever the bottle lands it is treated with the same respect it would have been given up at the Squirrel...
Now off to console (via the magic of the internet) two disconsolate erstwhile friends who no doubt will have a fair old drooth on.......

No thank you Ziva...I am Tee Total...As I said before I was only asking on behalf of (two) others who are known to have a rather large consumption rate and a fondness for the stuff............

Sarah Happy Birthday I have a dutch oven too and have never used it yet... Next Red Squirrel Trip I should bring it too and we can all have a play and try out cooking, I got the book in the link (which prob won't work) for free on my Kindle, but it only £2.00ish now
mmmmm Apple Cider BBQ Pork Chops sound lovely
there are also loads of videos and tips on Youtube about using Dutch Ovens
Have a look in the meeting up section under Nov at the Red Squirrel...I'm trying to arrange a pick up on Saturday morning fromm J Call taxis around 09:30 am...... Leaving Monday around 13:00 hrs....

All the way......From Glencoe Crossroads(In the village)to the Red Squirrel approx two and a half miles....Too far for an old codger like me to walk with all my gear....So Jim Call kindly comes and picks me up when I step off the bus from Glasgow...A journey of approx two and a half hours...
Jim and myself have a bit of banter over this...And I have taken to calling his car J Call taxi's........
Hope this clears up any misunderstanding....

Wouldn't bother me if it was Ziva...My numbers came up on the lotto last year...Muli millionaire here who likes to keep it simple and go back packing on the bus using his bus pass...Keeps me grounded...and aware of what's important in life.......
