Not sure when the tenting season starts but when it does that is a good time to sell, although, because many know that, the market can get flooded and drag prices down.

Folks do like to get something early to be sure of getting one and so will buy early when there aren't many about. That will raise prices.

On balance I think sooner rather than later.

Although many people camp all year round I think Easter is considered to be the start of the camping season. It's at this time that most campsites that have been closed for the winter wake from hibernation.

So, any time now might be a good idea. I have always had a good result on ebay with camping gear and especially if you are able to post it. However, ebay is getting more and more expensive so advertising here to begin with might get results, or, as mentioned, Gumtree or Preloved. Even a card in your local shop window or freeads might work.

Photographs certainly help and it would certainly be wise to check it over for mould first.
