Hi we have a Oakland XL tent that we love but would love the kids bedroom. I know that the tent is now dicontinued but i was wondering if another models kids bedroom would fit??????

We got one, last year, from the current outwell range for our vermont. A bit of elastic was all that was needed to amend it to fit ours. Malibu range I think although I don't know if they make it any longer

I tried to get some of the others via ebay but they always seemed to be out of stock or were for the wrong side of the tent

I have tried ebay and outwell direct but no luck.
I will look at the malibu range to see if thats close. I know that im after the right hand sleeping pod that sleeps 2

It's the Malibu one we used for our vermont xlp and it fits on the right hand side..

A few bits of elastic and it fits ok in our vermont.

The Oakland has a much lower 2nd bedroom pole than the Malibu and the Vermont so there will a lot of excess material (30cm approx)to loose somehow or you will have a very saggy bedroom

We have the outwell magic tent that came with childrens pod that we have never used which I think you will find is the same bedroom as you Oakland XL

I think the magic is the same layout and dimensions as our Oakland XL. The only problem is finding one.
I have been emailing a few Outwell stockists but have had no relply as yet
