My first SIM was an Outwell double that is 5cm thick, and I found it to be uncomfortable.
Also, the packed size is quite large and bulky, and the valve has broken after 2 trips. I cannot remember how much I paid for it, as it was bought in 2006/7. It sits in the garage unused and unloved.
Whereas my Therm-a-rest Luxury Map at 7.5cm thick is very comfortable even when I was lying on it on my side, and the valve can be changed when it eventually breaks.
I appreciate it is not a like for like comparison, however, I am suitably impressed by the Luxury Map that I ordered another one that arrived today. To me, it is worth every penny.
