hey I want to go away April holidays and sure we will. I was thinking of going to river dart country park. mainly for the water play area for my children 8, 5 and 2 with wetsuits. we don't have ehu. the last week iv been thinking April can still be cold and maybe be to cold to go in water (are main reason for going there). thinking maybe go there later in the year summer time and in April go somewhere different. just wanted some advice from other campers and campers with more experience.
thank you all

Well I've just looked at the site and WOW! It looks amazing. With a wet suit you should be fine. I've done lake swimming for charity in January before, with a good wet suit I was a little cold to begin with but soon warmed up from the exercise.

The only advice I can give is that April is temperamental. We are going away this weekend, the weather looks set to be fab. We went away last April in Easter, and it was -degrees and our ehu broke and honestly......it was baltic. It was either buy a new one or go home early, so we bought a new one. There was no way in the world, wetsuit included that me or the kids would have been doing watersports. Maybe go with ehu?
