Damp & dirty (had to push car out of mud), but we had fun!

Well done. Where did you go?

I spent yesterday drying my dd's tent from her DofE trip, thankfully its a small tent. Still to do is her sleeping bag which got soaked due to her leaving the compressing sack outside in the rain lol

Yay well done, we are just back too.. Threw it down both Friday and Saturday night, kids loved all the mud lol.
Just got to dry off the monster tent now, any tips?

Great stuff... what's a bit of muck and dampness things will wash or wipe. Glad you had a great time. Just back from my first camp of the year which was also my first solo camp too.. fan..bloody..tastic weekend.

We went to Far Peak. Had a whole field to ourselves. Kids had a ball :)

Our tents aren't dry, but they're pop ups so they can go up in the garden later.

How big is the monster? Washing line? Chairs on top of dining room table? Has it got a SIG?

It's a six man poly cotton.. Currently lying in the dining room, think I might turn it occasionally thoughout the evening then sort of drape it in dads garage tomorrow.
We went to Happy Jakes just past St Athan, last time we went in a heatwave!
