Hello,

Gone and purchased a Hi Gear Gobi Elite 4 today as a weekend tent. Got the tent, carpet and footprint for £185.

Intention being we can throw this in the car for quick getaways on a Friday evening (can't really do this with the Outwell Montana 6P).

We normally go for Outwell brand but I want to keep weekend camping simple (and cheap) you don't get this with Outwell because there is too much choice.

My wife was looking towards the Outwell Rockwell 5 but managed to convince her otherwise.

That's a really good price. The hi gear tents look good this year.

Indeed, its green too. i don't like blue tents for some reason. Green to me looks more natural :)

I like the smell of new tents, I am weird.

Yes, I hope to put it up next time weather looks good. Will go somewhere local-ish to test it.
