Roof box packed - check
Car packed - check

Now just to wait till I finish work tomorrow at 2pm and its of for our first camping weekend this year in our new Tirgis - we put it up yesterday and it went up a dream even for us 2 novices so cant wait to get away this weekend

we are also using this as a trial run for our holiday in France - how will the trailer tow on the motorway ? Do we need to bring / leave behind anything ?

Dont even care about the weather just looking forward to camping x

Ah, have a fab time! Hope you learn everything you need for France. We're off tomorrow too, for the week. Car is mostly packed, we're just packing the last few bits of clothes shoes etc, so they can be shoehorned in in the morning, and then showers and bed -yay! Its been a long time since September, cant wait to get in the tent

Imagine getting all excited about going camping???

You would never see me getting all worked up over a trip in a tent out into the green stuff....Too mature and sensible for that.....Just another trip for me these days!!!!






Says someone who is like a child on Christmas eve....and cant sleep for two night before the day of departure.....

Had a brilliant time all - just wasnt long enough though - things to remember for next time is that for this time of year I need warmer beds at night as it was bloody freezing ! But the tent was fantastic and lasted a proper storm with storm force winds and very heavy rain - it was swaying and swaying and i was sure it would take of but not a bother on it - will do a full review shortly. After that weekend I would be confident the tent can withstand anything - the weather was fab only for the storm that rolled in Sunday evening / night - I lay awake waiting for it all to go wrong while everyone else slept soundly !
