Just weathered the new soulpad 5 metre in preparation for the bank holiday at the weekend.
First time it's been up since buying it back in January.
Now just sitting in it having a cuppa before putting it away (not as much fun as putting it up)
Very peaceful .... Good way to spend a day off from work .
Lovely, lovely! Are you trying all your furniture to see how it will fit? Ah, the smell of canvas!
I would be doing the same as you today if my new tent wasn't sitting 20 miles away in the courier's depot! Absolutely nothing I can do about it until they try to deliver it tomorrow when I won't be here.
Didn't try the furniture !! Leaving that till the weekend
We only use this for weekend trips away as we have a pennine pathfinder.....but still prefer to be in the bell.
Got a new inflatable sofa this year as well so we will see how that goes.
This is our 2nd 5 metre bell as the old one was starting to look a little grubby. I also have the 4 metre which I use when camping alone with the kids.
Will more pics after the weekend of it all set up.
Ours will be getting its second outing in under 2 weeks and we cant wait. We didn't weather ours on its 1st trip. It just poured down 2 minutes after we had pitched, no leaks or misting inside the tent. There seems to be conflicting ideas on here about weathering. We took the easy option and didn't bother and let nature do it for us. As for the sofa, we got the suncamp inflatable one DW put a throw over it and does a good job as its quite low you can place it quite near the start of the slope on the bell without your head touching the canvas.
