Wanted to go to Charity farm too but they had no hook ups left and its still a bit cold on a night for me so off to Chester instead with my heater. Have pencilled the site in tho as he who fishes will probably love it!

Currently camping at Scone! Been a nice day but to be very cold tonight!! Hot water bottles already filled and have a lovely 'Baileys' glow on!! I would rather it was like this than peeing down and blowing a hoolie!!

Phew - I've heard from my daughter, and their first family camp is going okay. No problem with getting little ones to sleep, though she didn't say how early they're waking up in the morning! That's a relief - a happy first experience means they'll try it again before too long.

Not going this w/end. Like to let families have the bank holidays. But next week when they are all back at school we are away for 8 nights. Cant wait as its our 1st trip of the year. Geoff

Just back from 3 amazing days in the lake district walking up scafell pike and water skiing on windemere (kids not with me this time). Great food, great company, good beer, and plenty of adventure ;-)

We went to Broadleigh Farm in Devon. First time we've been camping without any rain! Had a great time. Went to a zoo in Torquay. Enjoyed a carvey on the sunday. And found some off road tracks to drive. Was a good trip. Apart from 2 bikers that spent 2 nights next to us for a bike show we were the only tent there.

Yeah about 3 miles. Iv worked for them before. The weathers looking good tho is abit cold at night. Especially in the valley. Theres a good pub in brompton regis if you dont mind a little drive. Have fun.
