So as we had a sunny day, thought we would put the tent up to brush it out etc before our next weekend away.
So there we were just getting started to put up the tent when our neighbours arrived with their nice shiny new caravan!
As the guy got out he was staring at the tent and had to say "wow that is a big one, how many does that sleep ?"
DH being a comedian said "4 and the dog!"
Long story short, they had lots of friends round to look at said caravan, one couple had a small child with them that announced I want to go in that big tent!! Haha
tent wins! As she was crying because she was told she wasn't allowed.

Of course the family with the tent will arrive way before because they didn't have to tow the shiny caravan!
Yeah. Because they have to stay within the speed limit or risk having a load of bolsa wood.

Smart cookie that child....Even at a tender age she wanted to stay in the light....And have nothing to do with the "Dark Side" which so many of her elders seem to embrace these days......

We had are first camping trip over the bank holiday in are new Maritsa 700 and met up with two sets of friends who came in there £40,000 motorhomes and they spent more time in our tent cause it had more room lol dare say they were nice and warm in the night...bit chilly in the tent
big tents are harder to heat when its cold - that was the drawback i found by using the same heater in all my different tents.
smaller tent nice n warm n cosy lot quicker
