First post here, been lurking a lot the last few weeks gathering info about tents and equipment for our first camping adventure. We have just about everything we need now.

Vango Calisto 500 + canopy + double camp bed cooker table and all the trimmings ? See pic below.

My Nissan Qashqai is going in for repairs and my courtesy car is going to be a ford fiesta. Anyone have any experience with the fiestas boot size. I'm assuming new fiesta style as it is a ford body work repair garage.

So will I be able to fit it all in plus one dog and wife?

It will fit .

I have an Outwell Newport L ( fits on front seat with the belt round it ) , one Lurcher on the back seat with most of the gear , and another Lurcher in the boot of a VW Golf , on top of some of the flat stuff , but shhhh don't let him know ( think Princess and the Pea , if he knows its there he will unearth it on the journey

You'll be fine

Used to be LurcherPie until pc probs . Still a camper with 3 lovely Lurchers

I reckon you'll be fine. If you're in doubt consider stuffing clothing and soft items into lots of small stuff sacks (or even half filled carrier bags.) You can fit them into lots of smaller cavities created by the oddly shaped bigger items. The smaller the bags the better though, I've found Alpkit 8L ones to be best sized.

Not possible :-) There will always be something. We do have everything we need, but the comment from my wife on Saturday was 'We must be going camping soon, the boxes keep arriving'

Who me?!?

You'll be fine... I have a a Clio - when I go with my friend from work we take that much stuff.. with space for food as well!!

(When I go on my own, somehow it's more of a struggle to get it in. Perhaps I am lazier with my packing...!)
