Sometimes with camping its all about knowing when to call it a day. All well and good braving the weather and all but if you really arent going to enjoy it ...

Oh and sorry but the bit of Yorkshire I am in is anything but sunny. Kids were going to camp out in the garden but even they have given up on the idea.

But Sunday and Monday is meant to be much better!

Thanks Angedaws , Yorkshire weather good Sunday Monday pity we're going Tuesday onwards . hope the weather is good enough. I agree about knowing when to call it a day.

Not managing to get away this weekend as a bit too busy but kids are back at school on Tuesday here anyway.

Not too worried as kids stop for summer in 4 weeks so should have plenty time to get away then :-) (still no plans of where or when though!)

Sitting in the van having a look on here at different posts - torrential rain - has been for about 2 hours now - not a soul about outside - but we are away ! Oh someone just dashing to the shower block!! If it stops I'm going to the pub !

It's been pretty relentless on Wirral today too... such a shame! Hoping for better things on Monday. At least when I come to do the weeding, the little blighters should be easy to pull out in all this soft ground!
