Heading up to Seahouses on Tuesday for a few days at Springhill farm. Already booked a Farne Island trip and hoping for a look round Bamburgh castle followed by a trip to Holy Island. Packing the walking gear so hopefully the car can stay by the tent for a couple of days while we explore on foot.
We're "hopefully" off to Beadnell tomorrow, just down the road. The boat trips are fab, some lovely little gift shops and fish and chips too. Indian Essence in Seahouses I can highly recommend for a carry-out. Some fab walks, walk along Beadnell beach for miles. The Castle is a good day out too. Hope the blooming weather improves though! X
Thanks all, the weather looks a bit rough but we will wait and see. The tent stood up to some really bad stuff a couple of years ago in Cornwall so I am not stressed about that. It would however, be nice to be able to sit out at night with a beer looking at the views towards Banburgh castle..

Camped up that way a couple of years ago. Absolutely beautiful. There is a pub ( the only pub I think) in nearby Craster that does amazing food. Need to get there early though!!! Have a lovely time 😊
