I was checking the latest rota at work and I saw I had next Friday , Saturday and Sunday off !

So I checked out a few camp-sites , and we're off to a small site on the North York Moors for 2 nights

The next time I was in work I saw the rota had gone , and my manager said it was being changed , so I told him I'd booked to go away so not to change my hours . He hasn't changed mine , but said he won't give me 3 days off in a row again

Roll on next week

Gosh. make sure you enjoy every minute then, how sad that we are dependent on time scales and have to grab every minute of happiness whilst we can. Life is definately richer for a change of routine and so its vital we all get out and about to change our routine once in a while.

I have 'holidays' booked off work , but this is an added one

I couldn't spend it at home washing , cleaning and doing much needed maintenance could I ? I'd only sneak out with the dogs for extra long walks/days out ; so why not take the tent for another outing ?

Added bonus is that there's no mobile reception there so work can't ring me to come in and cover any shifts
