Hi,
I am getting away for a weeks camping from this weekend. Having kept an eye on the daily BBC Weather reports this week I am not optimistic about finding a dry spot anywhere. Would someone like to stick their neck out and have a guesstimate as to where reasonably dry times can be had next week?? Maybe local forecasts are better than a national one? I don't expect a suntan but a couple of days without waterproofs would be great.
Cheers4now,
It will be glorious I'm off this week yes it always rains when I'm off work! Gutted wanted to get the smaller tent up as we're camping with a smaller car this time and wanted to get the measure of the tent
Ie will two double air beds fit in ? Don't have a lot to spend at present and don't really want to fork out on sim's etc ,just need get tent up!

Hopefully somewhere for a weekend in Sept
We're in the same boat. Got a week off work from the 8th June and planned a trip to the lakes, looking at the long term forecast it doesn't look promising.
Went away Northumberland last weekend, lots of rain and mud, so off again tomorrow to North Yorkshire and forecast is ok, sunny me thinks, just go Dave 1950, come to North east,
Keep looking at forecasts too, it seems grey all over. We always go away this week as its the second week of half term and last year we were so lucky, wall to wall sun shine. Oh well keep the kids wellies and waterproofs close.
Just back on Monday from Knoydart....And totally unexpected wall to wall sunshine....Expected it to be a bit grey and dismal....Big bonus the weather we had....

Off to Graffham (West Sussex) C & CC site on Sunday for 3 nights. Outlook changeable but i don't mind, it's always great to get away from work and household chores for a few days whatever the weather does. Plus i'm visiting friends while there so looking forward to that. Hope everyone else that is getting away enjoys themselves.Your break in Knoydart looked great Jellboy (and Co), such a beautiful location.
