I evicted little unwanted visitors that were dancing around in the top of my outer tent using a plastic glass and the brush from my mini-dustpan. It proved surprisingly easy to put the glass up against the tent over the fly, brush the fly into it, block the glass with the brush, flip it outside and go back for the next one. Didn't take long.

I use a glass & a piece of card. Put the glass over the fly, then slide the card across it trapping the fly, then put it out. I use this method to evict flies, bees, wasps, spiders, moths & butterflies. I kill ants. However, if there's a daddy-long-legs in the tent then I'm outta there & as far away as I can run  Hubby has to deal with those
