So as it was dry and sunny DH and I decided to pitch the tent and see if we could work out how to attach the Mira 500 porch that he picked up the other week.
It took us an hour all in to get the whole lot set up and we were quite pleased with ourselves after some messing around we think we cracked it!
Then you will spend another hour pegging it all out

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Looking good!.....and I can think of worse ways of spending a Sunday afternoon! How big is your footprint-it looks massive? Was just wondering as our new trailer tent when it has the rear awning on is over 7 metres and I was wondering how many sites we will get to use it on with the rear awning on.
Wibsey, yes you definitely need to sneak in a break before August, that's far too long to wait to pitch the tent again. You really need to be absolutely certain it's going to be ok before that
Rachntex i would have thought you'd be ok with your TT and rear awning. My daughter and hubby have a tent that is 7 metres by about 4 metres and that fitted fine on a grass pitch on a C+CC pitch in Bala a few weeks back.
Looks great! We have the Maritsa 600 and love it! We can get the tent up in less than 15 mins now - i then hide inside making it pretty while my oh meticulously pegs it all out We have no need for an extra porch but i would imagine that takes you well over 8 metres? Ours is 7.35 i think? x
Just put our outwell. Oklahoma day tent up for an airing as it's my day off I've sat here all afternoon, reading ukcampsite posts drinking coffee! Lovely! Really put me in the camping mood. Gaz
