I start my 2 weeks in the lakes this Friday - at least it will be cooler for pitching and so far the rest looks not too bad - not too hot, not too cold - come on Friday!!!

Glastonbury weekend, Wimbledon has just started, officially the first day of summer commenced 21st June and we are in the UK. I would be more shocked if rain wasn't forecast. I am sure you will have a great time whatever the weather.

Well we went! Only the other side of Maldon, but it was fine. It rained yesterday afternoon for a while, but it was quite nice to try the new tent in the rain. At least we know it doesn't leak!

We went, it rained, tent leaked. Evenings were dry and we all had a great time!
