My tent has large clear windows, no privacy.Any suggestions as to how to cover.Tried attaching curtains with velcro but they kept falling off.Thankyou.

It's a Vango universal extention so far the only thing Ican get to go over a teardrop trailer.Thanks.

How did you attach the velcro, I would have thought that if you used the self adhesive velcro circles that you can buy, both on the curtain and on the inside of the tent above the window, it would be pretty hard for the curtains to fall off. The only other thing would be to use a waterproof adhesive to attach the velcro on the tent side, if moisture is the issue.

I have a Vango universal extension for my Vango Colorado 8 so I do know that product pretty well.

thanks Jane, the velcro was well stuck on both curtain and window still fell off.thanks for your reply have managed to fix up something meantime. put eyelets in groundsheet material cut to size and attached to poles. hopefully that will do the trick. x

Otherwise sew the velcro to the canopy with a fine needle and seal with seam sealer.

Were the curtains you used too heavy perhaps? Ones designed for tents are usually made out of the same material. So if it is a polyester tent they would be polyester and thus very light.

Thanks for your reply.I used a lightweight shower curtain. I have since cut plastic window covers. made from ground sheet material and ttached to side poles.It has wworked well.

That should have been light enough, it was the sort of weight I was thinking of. Glad you found another solution though.

Ive always found B&Q value hook & loop "Velcro" sticks very well to tent material tried other brands and the all fell off at some point. Otherwise magnets seem a good idea.
