Have thought about getting an inflatable sofa but with a large family and not much living space in the tent I'm not sure it would work. You guys that have them already.... do you sit 2 people on them comfortably or is a double good for only one sloucher? :-)

We sit 2 adults and a 6 year old boy on ours, when kidiwinks goes to bed - we pull the bottom of the sofa out into lying position and both hubby and I snuggle to watch sunset or DVD or read.

It's something we look forward to when camping.. The snuggle couple time.

Just today I have inflated my Aero bed inflatable mattress in the house. Having come home from my 2 weeks in the tent and 2 weeks of the best sleep I have decided to try it tonight in the house where I never seem to sleep well.

I have my best sleeps on the air bed too, and find all my aches and pains much improved when camping. I think they support you in a different way from a normal mattress.

Sadly, OH doesn't agree and says he finds it moves about too much when I fidget. (I'm a restless sleeper, he stays dead still, to the point where I sometimes have to check he's still breathing!)

Thank you all so much for the feedback, I am definitely sold on a sofa now....it's not required until next year as we are booked into a cottage in Devon this year, our interest in camping has been reignited and have purchased two tents in four weeks!!!!
A weekend Quechua and now the family Kampa Filey Air Marquee!!! for future family holidays....
It's incredibly frustrating having the equipment but not the time or money to use them until next year.
Hopefully the wait will make it all the more sweeter.
