We had the Vermont xlp at 7.5 x 5.2
We never had trouble getting onto ehu pitches just tell the site reception the size of your tent and most will be able to accomadate you
------------- April Peak District Beech Croft Farm
May Peak District Duke of York
May Holland Delfse Hout
June Cotton Arms Nantwich
july/aug Cornwall Pentewan Sands
And quite a few local weekenders
Are you looking at UK or France etc as well ? We find on some sites in France our Vermont XLP is a bit of a squeeze, but not all... depends I guess what your plans are
All depends on which sites you want to stay at and if they have a pitch big enough, with a large tent it normally pays to book early if you are going at peak times
------------- Experience enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.
Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
just look for sites with large pitches, our last tent needed a 10m x 10m (vango diablo) pitch we just asked for a large pitch and even fitted our day tent on the pitch.
Think we need a list of sites who can accommodate larger tents requiring ehu, eg over 7 metres in length. We are finding it harder to find pitches that meet our requirements.
