We bought our previous tent in the sale in January, as the new models were due to come out in Feb/March. Got out Vermont XL for a very low price!
But now it seems the really popular tents are selling out in the summer season. Maybe the manufacturers are keeping their order numbers lower now to save costs. It seems that retailers often offer package deals rather than discount.
