Hello all I have just bought a tent and extention but whenever I try to book a pitch they say it's too big for the pitch size it's 600 by 500 and I keep being told the pitches are 700 by 450 how does everyone get round this ? Do you just not use the extention ?
Or is it just the large sites eg ones with pools and playgrounds that have this problem ?

Our tent is 740 by 510, we have never yet had a problem , I know some sites have super pitches or may charge more and put you on two pitches.

Do you tell them the size or just book it ?

All sites will have different sized pitches and therefore it is important to give accurate tent dimensions when booking so that they can allocate you a suitable pitch.
I would suggest ringing the site direct rather than trying to book online and discuss your requirements directly.
It may be that your tent is just too large for that particular site so you may need to look elsewhere.
