So, my new tent has arrived from Cabanon and I am thinking of making a one sided storm porch to add on the front to leave things under.

I have received the samples I ordered from Point North one of which is fine in terms of colour/weight etc. Before I ordered (2 metres =£59 with postage) I wondered if anyone knew of any other retailers of cotton tent canvas to consider.

Thank you, I will add ESVO to my list of people to buy from - after I looked at the samples again I realised that the one I wanted was £14 per m and not £23 so I ordered it! It is a great colour match for the tent and a really nice canvas.

I think Kayospruce sell Tencate they do a cotton canvas.

I just wanted to recommend Point North (www.profabrics.co.uk) if anyone is looking for cotton canvas.

They obviously cut and despatch on the day of the order - both the samples and the length of canvas were received the day after ordering.

The sample looked good but their 8oz cotton canvas is of amazing quality, the 2.5m length makes you realise just how good it is - it is actually superior canvas to that on my new Cabanon tent.

Postage charges were very reasonable - £4.75 for next day Royal Mail for 2.5m.
