Just bought a second hand Outwell Ontario. Looking for a carpet. Will any carpet from their other ranges fit as i cant find the Ontario one.

My camping mate has the same tent, He went to a carpet shop with dimensions, and he got a cheap piece for £25, Fits perfect, Used it every year for past 5 yrs, protects the SIG, and can be hovered when he returns, He reckons its one of the best £25 purchases hes ever made, And we will be using it again in just over 2 weeks, I did the same with my vango aspen, and never looked back, Hope this helps.

Hi Bob thanks for that. I am actually a floor fitter so could do it myself. There is one on Amazon but very expensive. Would rather pick the outwell one up than make one myself as they are made to take spillages and easy cleaning

I've had both a proper tent carpet and now use an off cut of real carpet for our tent.

Tent carpet seemed to move/crumple easy with children moving about on it whereas the real carpet stays put. Had a coffee spill on the tent carpet and had to clean it leaving it a bit bobbly (it is after all only fleece) but a coffee spill on the real carpet cleaned up as good as new (chose a mottled mid brown for a reason!).

If that hasn't convinced you then you need to find a carpet for a living area 370m x 320cm, this gelert carpet for £30 is 290cm x 330cm which would cover most of the living area.

I understand where your coming from but I'm going to stick with proper tent carpet. To be honest i found the proper one on Amazon but it wasnt cheap.i am a carpet/floor layer but prefer the option of premade tent carpet. Easier to fold away and easier to clean.
