I've only ever camped/caravanned at Warren Farm in Brean, mostly with friends but the last time & this time I'll be on my own with my daughters, 14 & 7 yrs. we had a great time last month just the three of us but I did envy the pitches I walked past in the evenings where groups of people were all sat together laughing and having a very sociable time..... The times I've been with friends were great but the weather wasn't and so the atmosphere wasn't the same.... I'm happy going on my own with my girls but might try and encourage other friends to come along, if only for a day visit :-)... Just having a mini-whinge really, apologies :-)

Aw, I'm sure you have fun with your girls, but sometimes it is nice to have grown up company, with this lovely weather i'm sure your friend will come along enjoy !
I quite like Brean and have been there two or three times. I usually stay at Sunnyside which belongs to Warren Farm and situated next to it. It is less busy and more quiet than Warren Farm itself.
Try chatting to some of the groups. If they realise you are on your own they may invite you to join them. I usually end up in one of the clubs when I go there
I most often camp solo and really enjoy the doing what I want, when I want, but have never had a trip where I've not met & talked to and sometimes shared a bottle (or 2!) with my neighbours!
Be brave, say Hello! & if you're in the mood for company accept offers when peeps ask if you'd like to join them
Doing the dishes is always a time I get chatting to other folk, helps break the tediousness of the job!
Sunny side is where I go! Field 11 :-) I must admit I do like sitting outside the tent of an evening with a coffee, listening to others... Sometimes wish I was more sociable/confident though... I love camping and really wish I'd started much sooner, this will be my third year :-)

As advised by the others in your recent thread on a similar topic, perhaps try a different camp site that is less of a holiday park.
Good luck.
