another one exactly the same!! Some might remember that while away Whit week we were devastated when our beloved Corvus got a foot long rip in it, courtesy of a huge gust of wind and our trailer!! Well, we'd managed the 9 nights away at Fforest Fields last week, but the rain had started to seep through the tear, despite it being well covered with tenacious tape. We were sat in our tent saying maybe it was time to think about a new one but sadly they don't make the Corvus anymore. We looked at others online and nothing really came up to our lovely tent. Anyway, yesterday checking out the internet I found 2011 models, brand new still available from a dealer, actually costing less than we paid for ours 4 years ago. The advantage of staying with the same tent is that we already have the footprint, side porch and front extension and we'll now have a spare set of poles! As the tent has been discontinued I decided, with much difficulty, to get a new carpet too. So we're now looking forward to our next trip away, a week on Friday in a tent the same as our old one, but smelling all lovely of 'new tent'!! Anyone else stick with the same tent when buying a new one?
