We keep crocs just outside the entrance, I don't mind if they get and bit wet, and if my feet are wet when I put them on, and all other shoes are in a tub trug.
Evening things:
We take a couple of board games, colouring or puzzle books
This holiday twenty questions has become a new favourite.
Although sometimes a little tricky when my son chose a one legged crocodile. And yes, I did get it in less than twenty questions, I know my boy well!
Thought I'd give you an update.....our 5 day break in Cornwall was a complete success! We had a fantastic time and must have missed Bertha. The weather was mostly fine (occasional showers generally during the sleeping hours).
We did the beach every day with a windbreaker we could relax in warmth. We bought wet suits and body boards and joined the amateur surfing crowd - mostly wiped out by children that clearly do it regularly 😄.
I can't believe how dog friendly Cornwall is. There wasn't a pub or cafe that didn't allow dogs that we could see. What other areas are like this? Is Devon as dog friendly?
We came home with way more than we took (wetsuits, body boards, personalised hoodies) and at one point thought we might ave to abandon one of the children to make room in the car lol.
Now we need to decide between the age old dilemma of trailer or roof box so that the kids can travel comfortably and the pooch can come with us.
Hubby can't deny it was a success and we are looking at the calendar that sees us both free from weekend shifts to go somewhere else!!
