Hello!
I have read extensively the great threads on the Year of the Tarp, and Tarp Origami - wow, you guys really are very inventive.
Budget constraints mean we have invested in a couple of smallish, ugly blue builder's tarps for our next trip ( a few days at Red Bank Farm, Bolton Le sands) and a pair of Vango twin poles. We have a few guy lines, and pegs a-go-go. If necessary, we have a few collapsible tent poles from our two man dome tent to further the cause.
We have a five pole windbreak that we could guy to as well.
I'm looking for advice on a set-up that would provide a bit of shade for the tent in the morning, but also leave enough space for two largeish folks to shelter from the rain, if we should be so unlucky.
DTM and I spent a happy hour in the pub, scribbling proposals on a notepad. but most of the set ups seemed to involve pegging guys ropes through the walls of our tent...
Answers on a postcard, please!
Thanks
Ange and Dan
