Were in the same boat as you although we have done several long weekend trips, but will still be our first week camping and it's a site similar to Haven.
We are planning on lots of one pot meal things, my favourite being beans, meat (sausage or bacon), potatoes and maybe some gravy powder for flavour or just random spices.
For breakfast we would normally have porridge but we have managed a fry up before, cooking the meat (bacon and sausage first) then moving the 2 together to keep warm on one burner, doing the eggs on the other and then moving the eggs over when done and finishing off with beans.
For lunch, we tend to do soup, hotdogs or sandwiches or super noodles.
Dinner is normally a one pot meal type thing, casseroles are easy, a big pot, a few tinned veg and some meat, throw it all in, add a bit of gravy and water and just wait. We do BBQ's as well, we find there is always somewhere local you can grab meat if you want fresh meat and veg and a haven site will have a shop that will sell stuff.
One thing I would advise is just use your hobs on the oven at home for a weekend and see how you get on.
Enjoy though, we have found some great meals just messing around and our huge camping pot is the best thing we ever brought for camping and for in the kitchen as well :D
