Hi, think it may be our last camping trip next weekend and thought about washing the inner bedroom pod to freshen it up, has anyone done this and is it advisable or not? I want to add a few extra 'loops' for hanging things so thought I'd do this and wash it before it gets packed away till next year. We have a Hi Gear Gobi 4 so I know it's not the best quality tent but it does us okay and it's stood up to some bad weather this year so we like it for the 2 of us when we go cycling

when you say 'wash it'.......

do you mean in a washing machine?

i am guessing you do else why ask for advice, i would probably do it by hand with a sponge or something?

As long as they are standard inners that sit on top of a SIG, then yes no problem washing them. I used to put mine in the washing machine on a gentle 30 wash, with a light spin.

Yes it is a standard inner that goes on top of a SIG, wasn't sure if it's risky to put in the machine or hand wash it. As it's an inner pod it's not like it's part of the waterproof of the tent but I was a bit unsure (and being ocd I'd like it to smell fresh!) Thanks for the replies
