When camping at the weekend there was people using these. On one hook up post with two outlets there was 4 tents using electrics. Is this okay ? The two tents next to us were both running heaters on separate leads .
they'll trip out so no need to worry about safety. I would consider sharing a cable using a splitter with a trusted friend but know that we'll need to work around each other regarding heater use. I occasionally use EHU but don't actually use much electricity when I do use it. I mostly use my heater for a few mins in the morning and again at night for a blast of heat. I don't have a TV, a kettle or any other power hungry things. I charge my phone, so I don't consider my electricity use too bad.
I have a splitter used it to provide electricity to my awning on a previous caravan used my tent EHU for that and also caravan lead. Also use with friends to give electric for light in a gazebo. When camping with relative used the splitter to give him some electric as other EHU point was to far away. Always check don't overload. Would not be happy if splitting with people I didn't know. Very handy to give another electric source just dont forget to take the tent EHU to plug in

We used a spliter in Cornwall recently as we have 2 ehu, one for tent which does the lights, electric blanket and hairdryer. Other does the fridge, lights and kettle in the day tent. We only got the second ehu recently as dangerous running an extension cable across a wet field
