Decided to cheat and opted for a static this weekend as only me with the children, we did have a walk around the campsite and there were a couple of tents with EHU.
Woke up Sunday morning to a rather windy grey morning and was glad I didn't have to put a tent down and worry about ensuring it was dry when we got home.
I was camping in a FC Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights, just outside of Balla North Wales.
In fact whilst out on Friday, the RAF graced us with a fly over, at 300m above Ground Level so close I could have shaken the pilots hand and by Fly Over, I mean directly over our heads
This year Thursday/Friday were Dry, Saturday extremely wet.Sunday Cloudy but breezy
12 months ago it was throwing it down so heavy on the Friday, full wets were needed. Saturday was Damp, and Sunday was freeing [I had to wait until the canvas thawed out and Dried up enough to allow me to pack up.
I'll be back camping the same period next year as well

Very jealous! Of north wales and the fly over! My ma lived on Anglesey for 15 years.. Miss my trips up there! Very beautiful
I love Anglesey and camp there a lot, it's almost my second home. Loads of pics on my blog if you want a 'fix' to stop you missing it

Not camping but went for the first of my new winter hobby walks around the Watership Down area. 200 yards into the walk the skies opened and it rained constantly throughout and then stopped on return to the car park...typical!!
Part of the walk passes through a small CS and there were two rather bedraggled looking caravans. I bet the occupants were really enjoying themselves as I was when I discovered the pub at the halfway stage isn't open on Mondays
Went up to Great Langdale. Got there 8pm Friday night. Bit late for pub food after chucking the 20-year old Vango Discovery DD200 up so sat there in jeans & t-shirt cooking & eating. Got a bit windy, having to chase after my Helinox-like chair before toddling to the ODG for a few while chucking-out time.
Night windy & rainy, damp patches on inner. Up at 8, lovely & sunny on the hills. Went walking up them, wind & rain returned, like pins in your face at times. Off the hill before 4pm to Sticklebarn then NDG after. Then it really did rain! Went to ODG to "dry off" ;) for food and a few more drinks of beer while chucking-out time again :) Still chucking it down when I came out, roads like rivers. Tent had survived another night. Non-stop rain all night. Eventually stopped around 7.30am Sunday so quick tent-down then shower.
