Been looking for a new vango force 10 ridge tent but was disappointed to find they are made in china now and by all accounts a shadow of its former self. By all means make the tent in china but don't keep the £400 plus price.
Anyway after a long search found this company, never heard of them before but all tents made in the uk and have done so for a 100 years. I fired of an email to them to test their customer service and received a prompt reply the next day.
But I would like to know if anyone has any of their tents?
Probably was their tents you used ! I also notice they must do the safari lodges for eurocamp. I think I will just go ahead and order the tent with extension.
I have a Task Force 3. Very well made and good customer service. It's quite dark inside because of the green colour which I find a bit gloomy but my daughter likes it because the light doesn't wake her up in the morning.
Make sure and report back. I've half intended to get the extension for ages so would be interested to see how you get on with it. Photos would be great!

I recognise the pitch in photo number two armchair! Looks like where I had my george tent pitched on at Comrie Croft in June. Nice tent btw...

BCT now manufacture the Giant Pearl ridge tent which used to be manufactured by Relum...It isn't a back packing tent because of the size and weight but it will last for donkey's years. I've got one which is at least thirty years old and still going strong....I don't know if the BCT offer of a hundred quid off still stands.
