Then OH will point out that we can't pitch it the way I said because of x, y or z and we can't pitch it the other way because of x, y or z. So end up pitching it the way he said in the first place.... which is usually bum to the wind!
Last year, I pitched my tent, so the front door had sea views, which was silly as I would have had sea views any way, because of panoramic windows doh!
The tent was pitched side on to the wind, thankfully my tent poles are robust and strong, plus pàying some attention watching how much tension I had on the guys lines on either side of the tent. Lol
